Is the charger safe?
Yes. The charging station is designed so that no electricity flows through the cord or coupler until after it is connected to the vehicle. In addition, electric vehicles will not allow you to move while the charger Is plugged in.
Further protection measures have been designed into the control box for your safety. Refer to the specification for details.
How much maintenance does the charger require?
Very little. Electric cars are remarkably simple to maintain. and the same is true for certified charging stations when installed properly. Due to its modularity, every component of the Y1 wallbox unit can be easily replaced. Built-in communication systems also enable remote diagnostics and repair, so you won't be left stranded in the rare event of charger malfunction.
